Eye Care Services at Vision Center
From routine annual eye exams to advanced laser vision correction and retinal disease management — we provide complete eye care for patients of all ages.
Comprehensive Eye Exams
Thorough annual eye examinations that assess visual acuity, screen for refractive errors, measure intraocular pressure, and evaluate overall eye health using the latest diagnostic imaging.
LASIK & Laser Vision Correction
Bladeless LASIK, PRK, and SMILE procedures that reshape the cornea to permanently reduce or eliminate dependence on prescription glasses and contact lenses.
Retina Care & Macular Degeneration
Expert diagnosis and ongoing management of retinal conditions including diabetic retinopathy, age-related macular degeneration, retinal tears, and vitreous floaters.
Cataract Evaluation & Surgery
Modern micro-incision cataract surgery with premium intraocular lens options — monofocal, toric, and multifocal — to restore sharp, clear vision at all distances.
Comprehensive Eye Exams
A comprehensive eye exam at Vision Center goes far beyond reading a standard eye chart. Our optometrists use digital retinal cameras, optical coherence tomography (OCT), automated visual field testing, and corneal topography to build a detailed picture of your eye health. During each exam, we check for common refractive errors such as myopia (nearsightedness), hyperopia (farsightedness), astigmatism, and presbyopia — and update your glasses or contact lens prescription accordingly. We also screen for the early signs of glaucoma, cataracts, macular degeneration, and diabetic eye disease, conditions that often develop without obvious symptoms until significant damage has occurred. Adults should schedule a dilated eye exam at least every two years, and annually once they reach 40.
LASIK & Laser Vision Correction
LASIK is the most widely performed elective eye surgery in the world, with an outstanding safety record and a very high patient satisfaction rate. Vision Center performs thorough pre-operative screenings to determine whether you are a candidate for standard LASIK, bladeless all-laser LASIK, PRK (photorefractive keratectomy), or SMILE (small incision lenticule extraction) — each procedure suited to different corneal profiles and prescriptions. We use wavefront-guided technology to map the unique imperfections of your eye and create a custom laser treatment plan. Most patients achieve 20/20 vision or better and are cleared to drive without glasses within 24 to 48 hours of surgery.
Contact Lens Fitting & Specialty Lenses
Not all contact lenses are the same, and the wrong fit can cause discomfort, dryness, or even corneal damage. Our optometrists perform precise contact lens evaluations that assess the curvature, diameter, and surface moisture of your cornea to identify the ideal lens for your eyes. We fit standard daily disposable, biweekly, and monthly soft lenses, as well as specialty options including toric lenses for astigmatism, multifocal contacts for presbyopia, rigid gas-permeable lenses, scleral lenses for keratoconus and irregular corneas, and orthokeratology (Ortho-K) lenses for overnight myopia control in children and adults.
Glaucoma Screening & Management
Glaucoma is the leading cause of irreversible blindness worldwide, yet it is highly manageable when detected early. Vision Center monitors patients at risk — including those with elevated intraocular pressure, a family history of glaucoma, or African-American heritage — with regular visual field tests, optic nerve photography, and OCT nerve fiber layer analysis. When treatment is needed, our doctors manage glaucoma with prescription eye drops, selective laser trabeculoplasty (SLT), or coordinate referrals for surgical intervention. Early detection and consistent monitoring are the most powerful tools against glaucoma-related vision loss.
Pediatric Eye Care
Children's vision problems are among the most underdiagnosed issues in primary care, because children often cannot articulate what "normal" vision feels like. Vision Center recommends a first comprehensive eye exam at age one, a follow-up before starting school, and annual exams thereafter. Our pediatric optometrists are skilled at engaging young patients and detecting amblyopia (lazy eye), strabismus (crossed eyes), and childhood myopia early — when treatment is most effective. We also offer myopia management programs, including atropine therapy and Ortho-K lenses, to slow the progression of nearsightedness in school-age children.
